AWB-USA is founded by aviation enthusiasts who are committed to finding innovative aviation solutions to humanitarian aid primarily within the USA as well as across the globe.
AWB-USA is the latest member of Aviation Sans Frontieres (ASF) global network which was initiated in 1968 by Air France pilots and flight engineers who took part in rescue operations by providing airlift support to those affected during Nigerian Civil War.
Our leaders have been at the onset of every humanitarian emergency for the past 25 years from Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans, Hurricanes Michael and Harvey in Florida, Hurricane Dorian in the Bahamas to the recent Covid-19 pandemic and wildfires in the West Coast of the USA. They also led the humanitarian efforts in the Rwanda Genocide, the Goma Famine, the Balkan conflicts, the Middle East conflicts and the Indonesian tsunami. They have executed the responses with the highest integrity while continually ensuring the donations reached the intended beneficiaries. They bring a wealth of experiences in operating in the most challenging region of the world.
